of 6— Access Notion AI
What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll use Notion AI to draft success plans, improve onboarding templates, summarize call notes into account briefs, and generate first drafts of customer-facing documents — all without leaving the workspace where you already do your documentation.
What you'll need
- A Notion account — free tier works for the basic features, but AI requires a paid plan ($10/mo Personal Pro or above)
- Your company may already have a Notion team workspace with AI enabled — check with your manager
- Time needed: 20 minutes to explore all AI features; ongoing 5–10 min per task
- Cost: $8/mo (Personal) or $15/mo (Plus) — AI add-on included in most plans
How-To Guide: Use Notion AI for Faster CS Documentation
Step 1: Access Notion AI
Open Notion and navigate to any page. Notion AI is triggered in three ways:
- Spacebar in an empty line → "Ask AI" input box appears
- Highlight text → right-click → "Ask AI"
- Click the AI icon (sparkle icon in the toolbar or sidebar)
What you should see: A text input with "Ask AI anything..." placeholder. This is your AI interface.
